SDEAS Employment Program Services for Partner Companies and Organizations
Diversity & Inclusion Training This two-hour workshop facilitates executives’ and HR practitioners’ deeper appreciation of the inclusion agenda and understanding of PWD employment.
Deaf Awareness Orientation Designed to enable hearing individuals to engage and empathize with the Deaf and have a firsthand exposure to Filipino Sign Language and Filipino Deaf culture.
Working with the Deaf Workshop This workshop is specifically designed to equip hearing employees with the communication strategies and mentoring skills needed in working with the Deaf.
Job Matching and Placement Assistance SDEAS may assist partner organizations in determining specific roles suitable to Deaf candidates. SDEAS may also recommend specific Deaf candidates whose qualifications, skills, and interests match the available positions in the company.
Interpretes Support SDEAS provides free Filipino Sign Language interpreter support for the job interview and Day 1 work orientation of the Deaf candidate.
Filipino Sign Language (FSL) for Hearing Employees The Filipino Sign Language Learning Program provides students with basic competency for sign language communication within the workplace. FSL classes also help students arrive at a greater understanding and appreciation of the Filipino Deaf community’s unique language and culture.
